I can't believe that Door Dash refused to refund or at least give me a credit when their driver delivered my food to the wrong house. The driver even confirmed this mistake. I called multiple times, and the issue was escalated more than once, but I still didn't receive any credit. I even sent them pictures comparing the house where the food was dropped off to mine. This is just one of several negative experiences I've had with Door Dash.

The service I received was absolutely terrible, and their customer service is a complete joke. I noticed that a charge of $29.48 suddenly jumped to $58.98 on my phone, including a tip. I couldn't believe it! Some thief had given themselves a $30 tip without my consent. I tried calling door dash customer service, but I was put on hold for hours. Frustrated, I decided to call again early the next day. Finally, a person named Gilda answered, but she wasn't very helpful in understanding the situation. She promised to transfer me to the appropriate department, but after 10 minutes on hold, she informed me that they were experiencing issues and would call me back in 10-15 minutes. However, she kept repeating "have a good day" without acknowledging my request not to forget about me. Two hours later, I called again and recognized Gilda's voice when she answered. I informed her that I was calling back, and she transferred me. Now, I have been on hold for approximately 35 minutes. This is absolutely unbelievable.

I am a first-time customer who placed an order for 1 sandwich and 1 brownie. Unfortunately, I never received the delivery and there has been no effort made to rectify this mistake. I am doubtful that I will receive the promised credit.

My wife had ordered DoorDash a few times earlier this year. However, when we reviewed our AMEX credit card statements a month or two after her last order, we discovered a recurring charge of $9.99 that neither of us had authorized. I contacted AMEX to inquire about the charge, but they ultimately refused to refund the money because DoorDash claimed it was for an ongoing subscription to their service. I strongly believe that DoorDash sneakily included the subscription without our knowledge during the ordering process. Although it may seem like a small amount, if I hadn't noticed, DoorDash would have continued to charge us indefinitely. Their actions are unacceptable, and they should be held accountable. I have filed a complaint with Consumer Protection in Western Australia and am sharing this post to warn others about this scam. I urge you to carefully review your credit card statements to ensure you're not being taken advantage of. I will never use DoorDash again, and I believe they should face consequences for their actions.

I just canceled my order because it was taking days to address a simple issue with the dasher, and they didn't even listen to me respectfully. On top of that, they disabled my ability to review the dasher and falsely claimed that the issue was resolved. When I initially asked for help, I was informed that the help service was down and that I would be contacted once it was back up. However, I never received any contact and the app marked my issue as resolved without allowing me to report it. It's quite amusing, really. To make matters worse, the dasher didn't follow my delivery instructions and left my food outside my building on the street before I could respond to their message stating that they had arrived. I clearly provided instructions on how to use the intercom to enter the building for the delivery, which is not a complicated task. They didn't even attempt to use the intercom and claimed to have left within a minute, even though it took me less than a minute to reply to their message instead of the instructions. Delivering food is their only job, and using an intercom should not be a difficult request. Furthermore, if they're not actually delivering to my door, they should be willing to wait for more than a minute for me to come out. I was told twice that a manager would call me regarding my complaint, but I never received any calls. The chat bot only "took notes" about my complaint and lacked any human understanding, leading me to believe that it might be an AI instead of a real person. Well done! DoorDash has lost my account for no valid reason, all because their help service is a complete insult.

I had a pizza delivered to Naperville from Sugo Mia. The delivery was made by a man representing DoorDash, who happened to be wearing a shirt with offensive language all over it. I observed him from my car as he left the pizza on the ground in front of the door, disregarding the sign requesting deliveries to be placed on the bench. I decided to address this issue with him, and in response, he rudely told me to go away. It seems that his choice of attire accurately reflected his unpleasant personality.

The worst experience I've ever had. They are never punctual and always add extra fees. They show no regard for customer service. It's the most useless company I have ever dealt with. It's no surprise that they are universally disliked. They even cancel orders without reason just to inconvenience you, and then refuse to provide a refund.

DoorDash is absolutely terrible. I strongly advise against using this company. Yesterday, someone placed three orders using my account, all within a span of 20 minutes. I immediately reached out to Customer Service for assistance. I spent over an hour chatting with them yesterday, and today, I wasted another hour doing the same. I managed to find a phone number, but unfortunately, I was transferred to five different individuals who were of no help whatsoever. The "chat agent" had the audacity to claim that the situation didn't appear to be "fraudulent." How can three orders be placed in just 15 minutes, with two of them coming from the same restaurant but being completely different orders? Furthermore, I was at work during this time and wouldn't be home for another five hours. As a result, the food sat outside my building for a whopping five hours. The Customer Service at DoorDash is absolutely abysmal. The agents display a complete lack of concern and simply pass you off to someone else. It's truly infuriating. I must have chatted with over ten people, all of whom kept disconnecting. There are plenty of other food delivery companies out there, so I strongly urge you to steer clear of DOORDASH!

I usually don't complain, but I have to this time. My kids ordered from Checkers, but only one order arrived! Now one of them is left without a meal. I'm so frustrated! I reached out to them, hoping for a solution, but all they could offer was a refund. Thank you, but that doesn't solve the problem of one of my kids not having anything to eat. It's a terrible solution.

I've been extremely ill and received DoorDash gift cards. Today is our anniversary, and I've been sitting here famished, attempting to place an order for an hour. The first restaurant's ordering window closed just as we were entering our payment information. Then, the next restaurant wouldn't allow us to place the order because we hadn't selected a sauce. We searched the menu for this sauce but couldn't find any matches. There was no option to choose a sauce. I just hope I can somehow utilize these gift cards and then uninstall the app.
